Dual Sport Bikes

Starter

Tommy Clowers reminds us that “the main thing when riding any motorcycle is picking the right bike for the situation whether is street or dirt.”  A 250cc 4-stroke dual sport is a great starter bike.  Especially for new riders who appreciate the ride and look of a motocross bike, but still plan on riding on the street. The moderate power of a 250 cc 4-stroke make it easy to control, and will give the new dual-sport rider the ability to learn the bike’s limits.

Experienced

A dual sport in the 450cc range gives the advancing rider plenty of power while still being light and nimble.  If you’re an off-road rider who appreciates enduro styling and responsiveness but also rides on the street, the motocross suspension will help you negotiate potholes and rough roads all day long.

Dual Sports in the 600-800cc range match the burliest enduro bikes while still being nimble, light, and responsive.  If you’re a hard core off-roader that still needs their bike to be street legal and freeway capable, this type of bike will fit your needs.
